A stakeholders mobilization was organized by the Municipality of Maliq (PP8), on 7th of June 2018, at the premises of the forest service in Maliq. Representatives of institutions, businesses, schools, NGOs and members of the community were invited in order to be informed about the launch of BIOPROSPECT, the actions that will take place in the forest of Maliq and the importance of the ecosystem services the protected area has to offer. More than 40 people attended the event, which was covered by local media and was also posted on social networks. People were interested about the project outcomes, expressed questions and suggestions and were positive about contributing to the sustainability of the results.
